HOW TO GET INVOLVED

The Teens In Training program is designed for girls, ages 12-15, who are interested in improving self-confidence, poise, speaking ability and stage presentation.  

  • Attend Professional Workshops

  • Public Speaking & Interview Practice

  • Talent Presentation

  • Health & Fitness 

  • Fundraising

  • Develop a Signature Lifestyle

The Teens In Training Program is a new Program we will start at the State level for Pre-Teens and Teens ages 12-15 who want to learn and/or be better prepared to run in a Local and/or State Teen Pageant.  Teens will learn viable skills that are needed to compete.  The focus will be on:

 

Interview – they will attend workshops, practice and go through mock interviews.

Health and Fitness – they will learn proper nutrition and health tips and they will learn a fitness routine.

Talent – they will work on their talent and/or search for a talent.

Platform – they will further develop their personal platform and/or learn how to choose a platform and together as a Teens In Training group, they will participate in a Community Service Project.

 

Teens in Training participants will attend Teen Forum, April 6th, 7th and 8th, and will have the opportunity to learn from some of Washington’s outstanding past teen contestants and pageant experts within the Miss Washington system.  The Teens in training participants will be provided with the opportunity to network with like-minded young teens and improve upon their Personal Brand. The workshops will include lectures on Interview, Platform Development, On-stage Introduction, Proper Nutrition and Fitness,

 

This program was designed to help you become a more confident, poised and prepared teen. The time you spend at our Teens In Training Program will give you an inside look at what it takes to be a local, state and national titleholder and will give you the opportunity to make memories that will last a lifetime!
